Halloween Work Look

 TIS THE SEASON

Halloween is my FAVORITE time of year. I always try to do at least two fun makeup looks! Today I am going to share with you what I did for work. I tried not to go too overboard and kept it in business casual dress code.

We are still required to wear masks at work so I wanted something that really made my eyes POP. Since I have green eyes, purple tones pair well and really make the green jump out. If you don't have green eyes DON'T WORRY. You can achieve the same effect using tones that flatter your specific eye color. For blue/grey eyes I recommend using blue tones and for brown eyes I would use reds for this look.

I found the skull neck gaiter at Spirit Halloween and paired it with skeleton gloves and tights. A theme not overly done but included enough accents to be able to distinguish that it is a theme.

BASE

MAC studio fix foundation

Cody Airspun translucent powder

NARS Bronzer in the shade Laguna

Anastasia Glow Kit highlighter

To get this eye look, I used the Morphe X Jaclyn Hill eye shadow pallete.

PRO TIP: use scotch tape at an angle from the outer corner of your eye to create that piercing line. Make sure to place the tape on your hand or other tough skin and remove a couple of times to take some of the adhesive off so it doesn't hurt pulling it away from your eye.

Shades Used

Silk Creme

Pooter

Jacz

Twerk

Royalty

Soda Pop

Abyss

I started with the first three shades in the crease to create some light dimension. Then I used Twerk and Royalty on the entire eye (including under eye) focusing on the purple tones on the lid. I also began forming the almond shape with this color. Lastly, I went in with Soda Pop and Abyss to add that dark spooky look. I focused mainly on the outer corner and blending. I completed this look with some KISS strip eyelashes and Loreal mascara.

For those times throughout the day where I was able to social distance myself, I wanted a bold black lip. I am traveling for work and did not have my normal black shades of lipstick so I used eyeliner. This is a great hack!

Stay Spooky!

XOXO
